ENHANCING OUR IMPACT THROUGH SHORT COURSES

Prior to the official revitalization period begun in 2000, the University for Peace offered a large number of short courses, primarily aimed at academicians and NGOs in Latin and Central America.

Since 2000, UPEACE has organized some 60 courses in many parts of the world, reaching nearly 2000 individuals. These courses, often carried out jointly with partner institutions have been aimed at various target audiences, including teacher trainers; UN employees; youth groups; military personnel; academicians; the media; and NGOs. Participants have remained a part of the growing UPEACE Network, and many of them work within institutions with which we are establishing priority relations.

The list of courses organized since 2000 to date is recorded below, and further information about these is available upon request.
