The UPEACE Department of Academic Administration helps new students find Housing Facilities in Ciudad Colón.
a. Home-stay: Living with a Costa Rican family allows the student to learn more about Costa Rica’s culture and language.
The student will have his/her own room with facilities to study and rest in a quiet environment.
Costs vary depending on the type of room. Rent, in most cases, includes meals, laundry, and room cleaning once a week.
The student may choose to have the following available services at additional cost:
- Internet access
- Cable TV
- Phone
b. Apartment: all apartments are furnished with the basic appliances. Apartments vary in cost, depending on the size, location, and services.
c. Own accommodation: the University for Peace will not be responsible for any housing arrangements students make on their own.
