The International Centre of the University for Peace in Canada will focus on the following activities:

• Catalysing curricula development and targeted research on critical new areas in the field of education for peace.
• Developing and delivering graduate courses, professional seminars, trainer-of-trainer workshops and other education and training activities on strategic themes relevant to building peace.
• Producing multimedia learning materials for use by UPEACEs worldwide network of partner institutions to enhance the quality of their teaching, training and outreach.
• Amplifying public debate and dialogue on peace and conflict issues through a high level lecture series, public symposia and exhibitions.
